School/Cousin/Beach January 24, 2010

Okay these are three really short dreams that I had and it didn’t seem worth it to post them all seperately.
The first one consisted of my friends and I being back in school. We were in our school uniforms and in my old English classroom. Joanne was wearing a red lacy bra over her school jumper because she said it was so nice she wanted everyone to see it. This didn’t seem like an odd thing to do in the dream, everyone was just like, “That is a really nice bra”.
The second dream I can only remember the end of. I was supposedly in my aunt and uncle’s house but it looked like my house. My little cousin who was about 10 (and who doesn’t exist in real life) didn’t want me to go back home. He said he had so much fun playing with me that I was never allowed leave. I told him that I had to go back home because people were missing me there too and I’d come visit him again soon.
The final dream was set on the beach but people were supposed to be going bowling. There was a girl there who was meant to be my friend but who I’ve never seen before in my life. I put my hand into the sea and it was freezing. My friend asked me how cold it was and I answered by putting my hand against her arm. She screamed at how cold it was and then dived into the sea. All of us still on the beach thought she was crazy.
That’s it for my dreams of the past few nights. Nothing much going on there really.

I was in this huge old-fashioned house along with everyone from work. Apparently it was our manager’s house and she wouldn’t let us leave. Everyone was just wandering around the house on their own. Somehow we knew that she was a cannibal and wanted to eat us. Not like she was chasing us around with knives or something but she was just keeping us there so she’d have a constant supply of food.
Everyone seemed very resigned to the fact that she was going to eat us because “that’s just what she does”. I figured that there must be a way of escaping the house so I started to look around. I bumped into another guy from work (can’t remember who) and he said he was looking for a way out too. I wished him luck but we decided to go it on our own because we thought forming a group would be too obvious and much more likely to fail.
I wandered down a corridor and I was looking at the paintings on the wall. Suddenly I was pulling one of them off the wall and there was a window behind it. I could see that it was nighttime outside. I slipped through the window and started running. Then Joanne was running beside me for some reason.
Out of nowhere my manager came chasing behind us. For some reason she was wearing a pair of kitten heels and they made a loud clicking sound with every step she took. As she was running, she said, “Oh I do love my new shoes!” in such a creepily happy way. Joanne and I were running towards a nearby hotel because we’d be safe there. I woke up before we reached it…or before she caught us.
Wonder how many people dream that their boss wants to eat them…

Fashion Show October 6, 2009

The dream was set in my cousin’s house down the country but it was meant to be some teacher’s house and there was a group of about twenty of us staying there because we were all going to be in some fashion show. Then I think it was meant to be Rebecca’s house. I got there late and when I opened the door there were three huge dogs jumping up on me and I didn’t know whether to let them in or not and someone told me to just leave them, it’s grand.
Everyone was in the sitting room but I went upstairs which turned out to be the attic. The attic was totally bare, tiny and had loads of windows. I looked out the windows and we were in an empty field right next to my cousin’s house that I mentioned at the start. I went back downstairs and Ashlee gave me some gluten free crackers and I was like, “Em…thanks?” Everyone was really looking forward to the fashion show.
Then it was time for the fashion show. Some 1st years were on before us and everyone kept saying they were crap. We couldn’t find a slot for our guys to go on in because they kept tweaking their clothes. They were all wearing suits that were way too big for them anyway. They eventually found a slot and then it was time for the girls to go on. We were all wearing debs dresses but there wasn’t enough room on stage for all of us so I was walking in front of the stage (it wasn’t a catwalk, it was just like a stage in a theatre). The only girl I remember being there was Joanne. She was in the middle of the stage. Apparently one of our dresses came 3rd because it was a design competition and they said the girl fourth from the end had real modelling talent (never seen her before in my life).
When the show was over we were all making our way home from some field. Ashlee gave me the crackers to take home with me and she said that she had been reading the ingredients and comparing them to normal crackers and the only differences were in the butter and the amount of olive oil in them. I just nodded at her and took them.
I think something was said during the dream about mine and Chris’ anniversary but I can’t remember what.

Disjointed Dream October 6, 2009

This is actually the dream I had on Friday night, I haven’t had a chance to go online and post it until today. It was very disjointed and I can’t remember parts of it but I’ll do my best to make it into a coherent dream.
The first part I remember was in work. Someone’s grandma worked with me and wanted her break at the same time as me so I could show her around town but I wanted to go to a football match with Chris or something. Then I was in town with Chris. We were going to go to a football match from town but we were running late. Chris said he’d just watch the highlights instead but we still went to the the football club’s grounds to do this.
Suddenly I was in Chris’ room, but he wasn’t there. I was with Rebecca, Lisa and Joanne. We were playing my DS and I was using Lisa’s iPhone to go online but she kept getting texts so I had to keep giving it back to her. Then my dad came in and was saying that he thought I was going to get an early night because I was wrecked. I said I was having too much fun.
The next thing I remember was I was in my kitchen but I was texting Lisa on my phone and we were talking about chipper because we’d both gotten chipper. She said that she’d gotten hake in batter and she sent me a picture of it.
Not really sure if that’s the whole dream or not but that’s all I can remember.
